Why we're building this
Accounting in German SMBs is often split across email attachments, spreadsheets, and separate tools. accuno connects receipt capture, reviewable account suggestions, banking assignment, reports, and tax workflows in one product. We want to support businesses that cannot afford an additional bookkeeper and relieve existing bookkeeping teams of routine work, leaving more time for review, advice, and the tasks where their experience matters most.
What matters to us
- Hosting in Germany. Application, database, and object storage are operated in Germany. The approved privacy notice and DPA identify additional providers, purposes, and safeguards.
- Transparency over greenwashing. We don't sell compliance promises we can't keep. On /sicherheit we list what we do, and what we don't yet have.
- Modern UI. Accounting doesn't have to look like software from 1998. We invest in a UI that is fast, clear, and uncluttered.
- Everything in one suite. Receipts, banking, accounting, reports, DATEV export, UStVA: one tool, one bill. No data conversion between five vendors.
